Indeed, I venture to guess that more than one is going to look like a shit / ida de olla of Homeric proportions. I assume the risk. And I do believe because the experience will live up to any worthwhile conclusion.

Deserve it because if one day a German director decided to shoot in the Peruvian jungle fever in 1560 epic that was a group of English soldiers, dozens of indigenous a brother, a noble, two women, a gun and a horse in search of El Dorado

Worthwhile because it offers us a vision of our history more accurate than many of our countrymen never have given us a handheld camera. Worthwhile because the coarse and even vulgar perspective that gives us just a camera that does not stop, it gets wet, it goes back and forth, slowly immerses us in the labyrinth of madness on a boat floating logs in the Amazon (the river and the forest are two more characters.)

worth because bizarre and claustrophobic scenes in the jungle of the first part of the film is technically wonderful and phrases hardly offer scrotumtightening portrait possible of the time. Worthwhile because the final scene (a pure 'Apocalypse Now') right part of film history.
worth And mainly because you have to see Lope de Aguirre. You have to enjoy and suffer with the show lunatic, ruthless, cold, wild, excessive, megalomaniac and paranoid that a foreshortened constantly Kinski offers us. If Aguirre is one of the most amazing it has taken this old country (for about a bloodthirsty madman, a traitor dared to sign a declaration of war on the empire of Philip II, for others, Simón Bolívar without going any further, almost a hero), Kinski leaves us one more huge performances I've ever seen. He is the wrath of God. And I think. Go if you believe it!
